'Carnival Moments'

Well, I didn't 'celebrate' this carnivals so I don't have any 'carnival moments' to share with. Besides that, I decide to shave my head this weekend for very personal reasons, but I have to say that we, the bald people are sexies too! So here is my before-after! See you!





             

TINARIWEN

        Tuareg culture shows their tradition, emotions, feelings, what they express, all in music, In some of the lyrics, they seem to be vulnerable and breaking the malls to make a connection with the people around them. They are meticulous, organized and deep-emotional people. I may have no knowledge about this people and their culture, but I can assure that, knowing the real meaning of the lyrics will give me a great perspective of what they want to transmit with their music. 

BARRANQUILLA - 2013 CULTURAL CAPITAL

1. Why was Barranquilla chosen?

Because Barranquilla became a very interesting city for the president and show him its culture, positivism and the social proyection that this city has.

2. Will Barranquilla receive any of the economic benefits liverpool hoped to from being named a cultural capital?

With the international promotion, Both barranquilla and liverpool will receive alot of visitors, with this, the city will earn a lot of money, so I would have positive impact on the economic in this cities 

AN AMERICAN IN UGANDA

1. What different points of view do we see in this story?

The perception that I had reading this story, is two different worlds trying to understand each other, both  the black man and the white man making a effort to combine their social behavior, their speach, how they connect each other, it's a very difficult relationship, the white man feels dissapointed with this situation, at the end, there's just confusion.

2. Explain the reasons behind the miscommunication that ocurred between these two men.

The way they behave in front of each other, I think this is the breaking point, because one of them It's thinking that the other's behavior isn't normal or isn't correct.This lack of good comunication creates confusion and then, there's this misunderstood.
